What are your favorite activities to do in LUNAs?

Running (trail & road), backpacking, hiking, pub crawling.

Briefly tell us about yourself:

I am a Southern California native. I'm addicted to the sun and the ocean air. I believe that the less you need the more you have.

What are some accomplishments you're most proud of?

Figuring out how to work less in order to live more, and with the most incredible person to share my adventures with.

What are your goals for the year?

My focus for this year is to give back to the running community that has supported me by volunteering as much as possible. Also, to brew the perfect barley wine.

What is your race/event schedule for the year/season?

Santa Barbara 9 Trails, Born to Run 4 Day, a few 50ks here and there, thruhiking the Tahoe Rim Trail this Fall, and maybe a 100-miler by the end of the year if I feel like it.

What's your favorite LUNA model and why?

LUNA Venado with traditional leather lacing. They carried me over the brutally rocky John Muir Trail. If they can do that, they can do anything. I have been digging the Leadville Trail a lot lately as well.

Who are your heroes?

Anybody who chooses to live for a living. Also, my mom.
